Failure Comes Before Resilience | Sonya Barlow | TEDxDeMontfortUWomen
It's time to acknowledge failure. But what does that mean? Sonya Barlow invites us to see failure as a 'temporary disruptor' - a necessary step in the growth of resilience. She encourages us to see how we can become stronger and more understanding, through the brave acceptance of the uncontrollable. "If I've never been taught how to be resilient ... what makes you think I know what a positive coping strategy is?" she once thought, amid a google frenzy. Have you ever felt the same? Well, no need to look any further... Sonya's gripping account will offer guidance and will encourage you to celebrate the fact that there is a beautiful failure inside each and every one of us.
